O ponto fraco é a alimentação.

A Jungle Paradise That Never Disappoints! We’ve stayed at Río Perdido several times now, and honestly, it never disappoints. From the moment you arrive, you just feel this sense of peace and excitement all at once. It’s one of those places that completely pulls you into nature without sacrificing comfort or great service. The rooms are amazing, super cozy, and tucked right into the jungle. Waking up with the sounds of the forest around you is magical. Every detail feels intentional, and every stay feels special. Make sure to check the West bungalows! The staff is truly next-level. Everyone, from the front desk to the waiters and the adventure guides, treats you like a friend. They’re warm, welcoming, and always go above and beyond to make sure your experience is perfect. We love the hot springs (so relaxing!), the tubing is SO much fun, it’s impossible not to laugh the whole way down, and the ziplining gives you the most incredible views. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and chill. Río Perdido is hands-down one of our favorite places in Costa Rica. Every time we go back, we fall in love with it all over again. Can’t wait for our next visit!

My wife and I booked this hotel for our 5 year anniversary and to be honest wished we didn’t. We stayed in the East Bungalows for the first two nights then got “upgraded” to the Center Bungalows for our last two nights. Our first night we had hot water for maybe a couple minutes then just warm, then went cold. After maybe a 3 minute shower. Our bungalow lost power multiple times throughout the night which made the emergency light come on waking us up at late hours of the night. We constantly were having to remove ants from our room. We told the receptionist about the water and they had maintenance sent over while we ate dinner. When we were leaving we were assured that the hot water was working again…it was not. They sent maintenance back out and after an hour of them coming and going (this was all around 9:30-10:30pm) they finally told us we might have hot water back in an hour and a half so almost midnight before we could shower. We spent most the day out exploring so we were pretty sweaty and gross. They gave us the upgrade to the Center bungalows but when we got here the shower is outside and not covered and wasn’t cleaned so just a bunch of bugs, leaves and sticks all over the shower but at least the water was a bit hotter then warm. The Easy bungalows have a tv and streaming services but the center(more expensive) has a cheap projector that you have to bring your own laptop too in order to actually use it. We were never given a minibar, coffee/tea menu and when we asked for a cart ride back to the room the rides never came not once but twice. The staff seems very over worked and I kind of feel bad for them. “Pura Vida” is over used and forced. This is a side note but all of the activities you see on the website are not free you will pay for them per person and the prices are in a book that was hidden in both of the rooms we had. Activities are pretty expensive for a hotel that has most of the activities onsite. I.E. the night walk with zip line which is only 2 zip lines is 100$ per person for an 1:30 walk…. At night… Honestly had more fun for way cheaper and a better experience at an AirBnB near Del Coco beach than this. If you want a Costa Rica experience this Hotel is not for you. It’s out of the way of the better tours, waterfalls and views.

Out of this world! Staff were excellent. Kind and always smiling, especially Arturo and poolside staff. Food was FRESH and delicious. Design is very thoughtful and seamlessly blends into the environment. The thermal river was nothing like we have ever experienced before. The hotel has a trail parallel to the river with various access points with different views, temperatures and depths. Saw plenty of wildlife on property-anteater, coati, armadillo and monkeys-that we casually watched from the swim up bar and dining area everyday! They were kind enough to honor Hilton gold and upgrade our room to the next level. Multiple things to do on property, including yoga, hiking, biking, zip-lining, tubing…you would not get bored for days! Cannot explain in words, you have to go there to experience it! Highly recommend!

A once in a lifetime trip! We’re not super active people but we went hiking, zip lining across the entire property and water tubing down a long river. We saw numerous different types of wildlife. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The outdoor showers, oh my goodness the outdoor showers… 10/10, we will certainly return.
